MIKE WODNICKI:

Owner, Pitching Coordinator, MVP Coach

Mike was drafted by the New York Mets out of High School in 1998.  Pitched for Stanford University from 1999-2001 where he played in 3 straight college world series and 2 national championships in 2000 and 2001. He currently holds Stanford's career win percentage mark with a 14-1 record.  Mike played in the prestigious Cape Cod League in 1999 and 2000 and was the winning pitcher in Brewster’s championship game in 2000.  Drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in 2001 Mike played 5 seasons in the minors with the Cardinals and Padres organizations and was named minor league player of the month for the Cardinals in June 2002.

MATT BURNS:

Owner, Hitting Coordinator, Director of College Placement, MVP Coach

After Matt’s collegiate playing career at Southern Connecticut State and Franklin Pierce University, he jumped right into coaching taking a job as a hitting coach for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League.  His first college job came when he was hired as an assistant coach at Division 2 Post University in Waterbury, CT.  That summer he managed the Rome Generals of the New York Collegiate Baseball League and in the fall became an assistant Coach at Divison 1 Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut.  During that time, he was also the General Manager of the Adirondack Trail Blazers of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League in update New York.  He entered the travel baseball world in 2020 with an organization located in Fairfield, Connecticut where he coached several nationally ranked teams and oversaw hundreds of college placements.

KEVIN KOSIS;

BS, CSCS:  Full Time Strength & Speed Coach

Experienced Strength and Conditioning Coordinator with a demonstrated history of working in the recreational facilities and services industry.  Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Corrective Exercise, ACSM, and Exercise Prescription.  Strong community and social services professional with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Exercise Science from Sacred Heart University.

Donnie McKillop

MVP Coach - 17u

Donnie McKillop has been the Head Baseball Coach at Loomis Chaffee since 2017. He has coached 48 baseball Pelicans that went on to College rosters. Loomis has won their league in 3 of the 6 seasons of league competition under McKillop’s lead and he has already won more than 85 games for Loomis. Donnie is also the associate athletic director and an assistant coach for a 2 time bowl champion football squad. On campus Donnie is the head of Warham Hall, where he lives with his wife, Katy; their son, Trace; and their daughters, Phoebe, Virginia, and Betty. 

Donnie spent time coaching college baseball at Middlebury College and football at Amherst and Springfield College. He worked in travel ball for Kevin Huber and Pat Hall in the CT Blue Jays organization in the summers of 2016-2020. He then managed the FCBL New Britain Bees in the summers of 2021 and 2022 working with high-level college baseball players. Donnie is still partially affiliated with New Britain and can be seen at pre-game batting practice buzzing with the boys. He is excited to take on more development in the MVPNE organization. “I’m excited for the opportunity to continue to work with the best players in the region and help get the most out of every individual I get to share the field with.”
